Plateforme Logistique XXL Amiens
Context of the realization of this Logistics Platform :
In September 2021, the Groupe Elcimaï launched work on a new-generation XXL logistics warehouse in Amiens-Saint-Sauveur (80), ZAC des Bornes du Temps II. The building was completed under a VEFA (vente en état futur d’achèvement) contract. Very well located, it was imagined according to l‘Enveloppe Industrielle Durable d’Elcimaï (EID®) and designed in BIM mode. The warehouse is totally environmentally friendly and highly secure. Thanks to the expertise of all its teams and beyond the acquisition of the land, Elcimaï is asserting itself here as a developer-promoter, drawing on its integrated engineering.
Project features :
This warehouse was developed on a total area of 116,153 m² on a plot of land of approximately 30 ha and consisted notably of 8 cells of approximately 12,000 m², 2 cells of approximately 6,000 m² and 2 SEVESO low threshold cells of approximately 2,000 m².

Eco Responsible Solutions
- The environmental approach tends towards carbon neutrality with a project certified “BREEAM new construction” level Very Good.
- Construction waste is sorted and recycled, with 75 % to be recovered.
- The balance of cut and fill has been respected : no soil evacuated, no input to the site.
- Solar stations to meet domestic hot water needs in tertiary areas
- Materials from re-use are favored, as well as efficient, low-carbon products particularly on structure, walls, insulation materials, facade cladding or even road and parking pathways.
- The warehouse is self-sufficient in drinking water, with the exception of human food requirements. Low-consumption sanitary appliances are preferred. Processes are also in place to recover rainwater .
- The open spaces have made it possible to plant planted green spaces that will account for a third of the land area. Plant species have been selected with a view to enhancing the site’s biodiversity. The impact will be the subject of a 5-year management plan. Green roofs have also been installed.
