PROPOSE AN ACTION PLAN TO REDUCE THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT OF PLASTICS

Mission description

In 2019-2020, the Direction des Pêches Maritimes et de l’Aquaculture wished to co-construct with the Regions, an operational program containing an action plan relating to the reduction of the environmental impact of plastics used in the fisheries and aquaculture sector. For France, the Direction des pêches maritimes et de l’aquaculture (DPMA) was responsible for drafting the operational program for the FEAMP, a document subsequently assessed by the European Commission, notably in terms of its contribution to the reduction of marine waste.
